Hawaii Island police are searching for a 40-year-old Kealakekua man who was reported missing.

Aron Makani Beshore was last seen July 17 in Kainaliu. He is described as Caucasian, 6-feet tall, 250 pounds with brown eyes and brown buzz-cut hair.

He has a medical condition that requires medication.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective Sean Smith at 326-4646, ext. 262, or ssmith@co.hawaii.hi.us.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
