Kohala Mountain Road, also known as Route 250, reopened early Saturday.
The road closed was closed shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday because of fallen trees along the roadway as Tropical Storm Iselle moved across the Big Island, according to the Hawaii Police Department reports.
