Burglaries

None reported

Stolen vehicles

Aug. 23, a red 2007 Mazda 3, bearing Hawaii license plate HKD943, was reportedly taken just north of Painted Church Road fronting the cemetery.

Aug. 27, a white 2013 Symco mo-ped bearing registration number H34356 was reportedly taken from the Kona Mansions mo-ped parking area. The vehicle identification number is RFGBS1AJ7C5FT3147.

Aug. 27, a silver 2000 Lexus RX300 bearing license plate JGT324 was reportedly taken from the Makalapua Cinemas parking lot.

Aug. 28, a blue 1995 Toyota pickup truck bearing license plate HYF497 was reportedly taken in the area of Queen Kaahumanu Highway and Kaiminani Drive. The truck had a sticker on the back window of a skull with flames and the letters H.H.H.

Theft from vehicle

Aug. 23, a wallet and prescription glasses were reportedly taken from the Hawaii Community College — Palamanui site.

Aug. 24, two stereo amps were reportedly taken from Jack Hall Housing.

Aug. 25, Maui Jim sunglasses, a Beuchat speargun and miscellaneous CDs were reportedly taken from the American Medical Response parking lot on Alapa Street.

Aug. 26, a black purse containing a brown Coach wallet and numerous credit cards were reportedly taken from Kona Bali Kai on Alii Drive.

Aug. 27, a vehicle was reportedly entered and damaged, but nothing was taken in the Department of Human Services parking lot on Sarona Road.

Theft

Aug. 23, a wallet was reportedly stolen from Laaloa Beach Park while the owner swam.

Aug. 26, a , a black purse with pink flowers containing U.S. currency, passport, driver’s license and several credit cards was reportedly taken from the Kona International Airport. The owner remembers last seeing the purse in the north terminal restroom.

Aug. 26, a man and woman allegedly ordered food at Panda Express in Kona Commons, received the food and left without paying.

Aug. 26, a plastic table and chair were reportedly taken from an outside patio in the 75-5900 block of Alii Drive.

Aug. 27, a change machine was reportedly taken from the Kona Billfisher.

Aug. 27, two table lamps and five garbage bags of assorted recyclables were reportedly taken from the Keauhou Transfer Station.

Aug. 29, a man left his wallet somewhere and it wasn’t turned in to police. The victim was notified that charges were made on a credit card that was in the wallet.
