Hawaii County’s Department of Public Works will be installing bike lanes along Kuakini Highway between Palani Road and Kaiwi Street. The work will start on Monday and be completed by Oct. 3.
Work will be done on 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. There will be no road or lane closures, but motorists should anticipate occasional stops around the work area.
