Hazel Hayakawa
Hazel Leinaala Hayakawa, 88, of Kealakekua died Sept. 6, 2014, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Oct. 1, 1925, in Kealia, Kauai, she was a retired cocktail waitress at the former King Kamehameha Hotel, a former member of the Lea Lea Women’s Golf Club, Na Alii Hawaiian Civic Club, a former den mother for the Boy Scouts and member of Christ Church Episcopal.
Friends may call at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at Christ Church Episcopal in Kealakekua for a 2:30 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire worn be worn. Flowers are welcome.
She is survived by sons, Calvert Hose of Honolulu, Harvey Martin of Kealakekua, Clayton Martin of Ocean View; daughter, Sandra Momohara of Pearl City, Oahu; stepson, Larry Hayakawa of California; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Allen Ogawa
Allen “Katch” Kazuto Ogawa, 81, of Kapaau died Sept. 5, 2014, at his residence. Born May 23, 1933, in North Kohala, he retired as a mechanic for the County of Hawaii, was a plumbing contractor and an Army veteran.
Private services will be held.
He is survived by wife, An Yong Ogawa of Kapaau; sons, Francis (Toshimi) Ogawa of Japan, Alden Ogawa and Calvin Ogawa, both of Kapaau; brother, Wallace (Fujiko) Ogawa of Honolulu; one grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Harold Ching
A memorial service for Harold Ching, 70, of Keaau, is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sept. 20 at St. Clements Church on Wilder Avenue. Another service will be held in Hilo at a later date. An earlier obituary for Ching did not include service information because it was not provided.
Glenna Kaiawe
Glenna “Mokihana” Kealamokihana Kaiawe, 69, of Honaunau died Sept. 2, 2014, at Kona Community Hospital. Born April 2, 1945, in Kiilae, she was a retired linen room supervisor, former room maid at the former Kona Village Resort and member of Pukaana Congregational Church.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Sept. 19 at Pukaana Congregational Church in Kealia for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 8 a.m. Sept. 20 at the church for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
She is survived by husband, Moke Kaiawe of Honauanu; sons, Andrew (Desiree) Kaiawe of Kailua-Kona, Glenn (Bonnie) Kaiawe of Honaunau; daughter, Tracey-Lynn Kaiawe of Honaunau; brothers, Howard (Yaeko) Hose of Ainaloa, Elmer (Yong Sun) Kaiawe of Mililani, Oahu, Joe (Charlene) Kaupu of Nanakuli, Oahu; sisters, Stella Galon of Honolulu, Lily (Ron) Clifton of Hephzibah, Ga.; two grandchildren; numerous aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Karen Jean Guerreiro, 60, of Ocean View died Aug. 30, 2014, at her residence. Born July 3, 1954, in Vallejo, Calif., she was an administrative assistant at Kona Community Hospital.

Cecilia “Annette” Jackson, 67, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 25, 2014, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 7, 1947, in Sebastopol, Calif., she worked for Securitas as the assistant to the airport chief of police at Kona International Airport.

She is survived by hanai sister, Judy Nelson of Kailua-Kona.
