Hawaii Island police released on Wednesday a sketch of a man who reportedly attempted to rob a 7-11 convenience store in Pahoa in May.

Police said a man entered the store at about 8:30 p.m. May 2 and demanded money from an employee. After the 19-year-old man refused the demand, the suspect fled the area. The victim was not injured in the robbery attempt.

He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, blue sweat pants, black-and-white Converse style shoes and black rubber gloves, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
