Stolen vehicles

Sept. 22, a black 2013 Honda Metropolitan mo-ped bearing Hawaii license plate 157HNV was reported stolen from the Kalani Kai Apartments parking lot area in North Kona.

Sept. 23, a black and orange rental mo-ped marked “5” was reported stolen from the Kona Seaside Hotel parking lot in North Kona.

Theft from vehicle

Sept. 20, a MacBook Pro laptop computer and leather wallet containing a Hawaii driver’s license, Costco card and money were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 87-3000 block of Hawaii Belt Road.

Sept. 20, Bluetooth headphones, keys and coins were reported stolen from several vehicles in the 74-900 block of Kealakehe Street in North Kona.

Sept. 20, A Motorstart A/C starter, two sunglasses and two baseball hats were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 74-5000 block of Huaala Street in North Kona.

Sept. 20, a yellow DeWalt screwgun and coins were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 74-5600 block of Alapa Street in North Kona. A male suspect was arrested.

Sept. 20, a Samsung Galaxy cellphone, phone charger, Sephora gift card and Asics watch were reported stolen from a vehicle at the Kona Seaside Hotel parking lot in North Kona.

Sept. 21, a female victim observed a male suspect entering her vehicle and removing a purse while she was eating at Pinetree Cafe in North Kona. The victim confronted the suspect and retrieved her purse. The suspect left the area in a truck after reversing into her vehicle. The suspect was identified.

Sept. 21, a gold iPhone 5, black pocket knife and bag containing feminine products were reported stolen from a vehicle in the Safeway parking lot in North Kona.

Sept. 23, black Spy sunglasses and a vehicle manual pouch were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 77-6400 block of Kilohana Street in North Kona.

Theft

Sept. 21, a theft was reported at Denny’s in North Kona, with a female and male suspect leaving without paying their bill.

Sept. 22, theft of a black leather wallet containing a Bank of Hawaii debit card, Capital One credit card and Hawaii ID was reported in the 75-100 block of Lunapule Road in North Kona.

Sept. 23, theft of a bottle of ear cleaner for dogs and cats was reported at the Keauhou Veterinary Hospital in North Kona.

Sept. 24, theft of a wallet containing Japanese and U.S. currency was reported at a Hualalai farmers market in North Kona.

Sept. 25, theft of a black pouch, gold rope necklace, gold earrings, gold ring, gold bracelet and a white chocolate diamond with a white gold band was reported at the Sheraton Kona Resort &Spa at Keauhou Bay in North Kona.
