Big Island police looking woman wanted on bail jumping, contempt charges

Hawaii Island Police are searching for a 23-year-old Josephine Miranda, who is wanted for for bail jumping and contempt of court.

Miranda is described as 5-foot-7, weighing 130 pounds, and having brown eyes and long black hair. She has no permanent address, but frequents the Kailua-Kona area, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000
