All Hawaii County and State beach packs on Hawaii Island will close Friday ahead of the arrival of Tropical Storm Ana, according to the Hawaii County Civil Defense. The National Park Service said Hawaii Volcanoes National Park will also be closed.
County beach parks include:

- Punaluu Beach Park, Ka’u

- Richardson Ocean Park, Hilo

The state Department of Land and Natural Resources also closed all state forest managed lands on Hawaii Island on Thursday. They will remain closed until further notice. The closures include forest reserves, wildlife sanctuaries, natural area reserves, Na Ala Hele hiking trails, game management areas, including the Keanakolu cabins, Ainapo hiking trail and cabin, Muliwai trail and Waimanu valley campground.
