Giant helpings from the heart were served at Jackie Rey’s Ohana Grill Thursday.

The Kailua-Kona restaurant teamed up once again with The Salvation Army to offer free Thanksgiving meals for the homeless, low-income families and anyone in need of assistance.

This festive event is supported by numerous volunteers who donate time, food and money.

Among the Thanksgiving leftovers were gratitude and aloha by all involved.
