This log of property crimes reported in the Kona District is a feature of West Hawaii Today and is compiled using Hawaii Police Department records. The department considers North and South Kona one district.

Burglaries

Dec. 12, a burglary was reported in the area of the 600 block of Hualalai Road. U.S. currency and a laptop were allegedly taken.

Dec. 17, a burglary was reported in the area of the 700 block of Hualalai Road. Car keys, electronics, speakers and tools were allegedly taken.

Dec. 18, a burglary was reported in the area of the 400 block of Kaohe Mauka Road. Money, electronics and documents were allegedly taken.

Dec. 18, a burglary was reported in the area of the 5500 block of Kauhola Street. Glass was damaged and firearms were allegedly taken.

Stolen vehicles

Dec. 12, a red 2013 Kymco Agility moped was reported stolen in the area of the 5800 block of Kuakini Highway.

Dec. 15, a white 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, bearing Hawaii license plate KVK936, was reported stolen in the area of Alahou Street.

Dec. 15, a white 2015 Yamaha motorcycle, bearing Hawaii license plate 551XNT, was reported stolen in the area of 6000 Alii Drive.

Dec. 17, a blue 2000 BMW 323 four-door sedan, bearing Hawaii license plate ZCR548, was reported stolen in the area of 700 Hualalai Road.

Theft from vehicles

Dec. 12, U.S. currency and medication were reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the area of the 6400 block of Seaview Circle.

Dec. 14, a phone was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the area of Alii Drive and Lymans surf spot.

Dec. 17, money and a bag were reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the area of Alii Drive and Royal Poinciana Drive.

Dec. 17, a wallet was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the area of 5700 block of Alii Drive.

Dec. 17, a wallet was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the area of Kua Bay.
