Convoys planned between Pohakuloa Training Area and Keaukaha Military Reservation

Oahu-based service members will convoy between Pohakuloa Training Area and Keaukaha Military Reservation, beginning Wednesday.

Convoys will travel from PTA to KMR from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Convoys will travel from KMR to PTA from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Saturday. Convoys will use Hilo Airport Road, Kanoelehua Avenue (Highway 11), West Puainako Street, Komohana Avenue, Puainako Extension Route 2000 and the Daniel K. Inouye Highway.

The Hawaii Police Department will escort the convoys. Motorists are advised to be alert and drive with care.
