Stewart Erickson, of Lethbridge, Canada, spends 2 1/2 months each winter in Kailua-Kona with his wife, Margaret. Erickson doesn’t let multiple sclerosis prevent him from enjoying the island. This year, the couple purchased a collapsible wagon for carrying beach supplies that Erickson tows behind his scooter to Kahaluu Beach Park.
