HAGATNA, Guam — Guam police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian who died two weeks after he was struck by a vehicle.

The Pacific Daily News, a Guam newspaper, reports that 50-year-old Jack Kennedy died Tuesday at Guam Memorial Hospital.

Police spokesman A.J. Balajadia says Kennedy was the pedestrian in the Feb, 23 collision on Route 1 in Tamuning.

Authorities say a silver Nissan Altima with a shattered front windshield was parked in the outer southbound lane on the night of the crash.

Balajadia says the investigation continues.
