HONOLULU — Honolulu police are investigating an early morning shooting that seriously injured a man in Mililani.
Police say the 35-year-old man was shot in the chest with a handgun at around 1:15 a.m. Saturday.
Mililani resident Judy Kawamura tells KHON-TV she was watching television when she heard a gunshot and a man yelling for help.
Other witnesses spotted the man running down Lanikuhana Avenue near Meheula Parkway.
Witnesses came to his assistance at Lanikuhana Avenue and Kealakaa Street.
The man was taken to a hospital.
No arrests have been made.
