Felipe Garcia

Felipe Lopez Garcia, 45, of Kailua-Kona died March 27, 2015, at Kona Community Hospital. Born July 22, 1960, in Nayarit, Mexico, he was a laundry assistant at the Four Seasons Resort, as well as the former Snow White and Kona Laundries.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. April 5 at the Kona Hispanic Seventh-day Adventist Church, 74-5590 Eho St., Suite 115, Kailua-Kona. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

He is survived by brother, Ramon Garcia of Mexico; sisters, Maria (Margaro) Montano, Augustina Garcia and Conception Garcia, all of Mexico, Maria Garcia of Guadalajara, Mexico, Rosa (Aurelio) Ortiz of Canyon Lake, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nephi Napeahi

Nephi “Uncle Nips” Nalei Napeahi, 71, of Kohala and formerly of Waimanalo, Oahu, died March 22, 2015, in Kohala. Born July 19, 1943, in Hilo, he was a member of the Kohala Mormon Church, worked as a file clerk in the Pearl Harbor Shipyard and was a Navy veteran.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. April 18 at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kohala Ward for a service. Ashes will be scattered at a later date.

He is survived by brother, Nahale (Journet) Napeahi of Kohala; stepbrother, Moroni Napeahi of Honolulu; sisters, Neon (Duwayne) Akui of Kapolei, Oahu, Helen Hapeahi of Hilo; many nephews and nieces.

Steven Seyfried

Steven Harry Seyfried, 63, of Kailua-Kona died March 28, 2015, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born Feb. 29, 1952, in Jersey City, N.J., he was a retired automotive technician and former distribution manager for West Hawaii Today.

Private services will be held.

He is survived by wife, Denise Seyfried of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Liane Seyfried and Stephanie Seyfried, both of Kailua-Kona; mother, Jean Seyfried of Secaucus, N.J.; brother, Michael (Jenny) Seyfried of Pennsylvania; numerous nieces and nephews.

James Gonzales

James “Jimi” Contreras Gonzales, 65, of Ocean View died March 28, 2015. Born Nov, 1, 1949, in Los Angeles, he was a metal fabricator and guitar player.

He is survived by wife, Evelyn Gonzales of Ocean View; son, James Mora of Honolulu; brother, Marco Guzman of Los Angeles; sisters, Irene (Raymond) Rodrigues of Moreno Valley, Calif., Lydia Gonzales, Blanche Guzman, Jackie Guzman, all of Los Angeles; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Timothy Bezona

Timothy “Tim” Paul Bezona, 52, of Kailua-Kona died March 25, 2015, at home. He was born on Jan. 16, 1963, in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Private services will be held.

He is survived by daughters, Leilani (Toby) Parham of Norfolk, Va., Monique Bezona of Seattle; mother, Ellen Bezona of Seattle; father, Norman Bezona of Kailua-Kona; brother, Ricci Bezona of Kailua-Kona; Diane McWhirter of Seattle; one granddaughter; three nephews.

Lawrence De Jesus

Lawrence B. De Jesus, 61, of Honolulu and formerly of Kailua-Kona died March 25, 2015, in Honolulu. Born in the Philippines, he was a repairman.

Private services were held.

He is survived by daughter, Eleanor Vasquez; mother, Eleanor De Jesus; brothers, Norberto Bautista, Danny De Jesus; five grandchildren.
