Jeffery Estabillio Sr., 64, of Hilo died March 31, 2015. He was born in Hilo.

He is survived by wife, Jeanette Estabillio of Hilo; mother, Martha Desa of Hilo; son, Jeffery (Ronnie Mae Conol) Estabillio Jr. of Hilo; daughters, Saizzean (Shelly Miguel) Saturnio, Jendi (Tony Amaral) Saldana, Jenea (Christopher) Respicio and Shawna (Jason Perreira) Evangelista, all of Hilo; brother, Gilbert Desa Jr. of Hilo; sisters, Taryn (Leslie) Lee Loy, Gilbernette (Roland) Shimaoka and Colleen (Gary Cruse) Desa, all of Hilo; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary Ann Bernard

Mary Ann “Kehau” Kehaulani Hostetler Bernard, 68, of Hilo died March 26, 2015, at home. Born Dec. 21, 1946, in Honolulu, she was a landlord.

No services are planned.

She is survived by husband, Caesar DeMello of Hilo; sons, Dennis Bernard, Aaron Bernard, both of Honolulu; sister, Buggsy Ueda of Hilo.

Tsugino Kouchi

Tsugino “Jean” Kouchi, 88, of Hilo, died March 27, 2015, at her home. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker, member of Taishoji Soto Mission and Waiakea Homestead Chuo Kumiai.

Private services were held. Family requests in lieu of flowers and monetary gifts, donations may be made to Hospice of Hilo in her memory.

She is survived by daughter, Beverly (Rick) Barlongo of Hilo; son, Don (Kathy) Kouchi of Hilo; sister, Margie (Ken) Shigeoka of Hilo; brother, Shigeto Narikawa of Honolulu; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan La Pointe

Susan Marie La Pointe, 60, of Hilo died March 15, 2015, at Hospice of Hilo’s Pohai Malama Facility. Born July 17, 1954 in Oregon, she was a former teacher’s aide.

Eileen Krueger

Eileen Marie Krueger, 78, of Kailua-Kona died March 29, 2015, at her residence. Born Aug. 15, 1936, in Trenton, N.J., she was a former security guard and luggage controller for Robert’s Hawaii.

Private services were held.

She is survived by companion, Edward Kapu of Kailua-Kona; son, James Krueger of Honolulu; daughters, Natalie (Dwayne) Kent of San Lorenzo, Calif., Debbie Krueger of Seattle; sister, Nancy (Robert) Gregorio of Lubbock, Texas; one granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.

Curtis Hirano

Curtis Tadashi Hirano, 59, of Readings, Penn. died March 12, 2015, at Readings Hospital. Born Sept. 27, 1955, in Kealakekua, he was a maintenance employee at a recycle factory in Pennsylvania and an Army veteran.

Private services will be held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.

He is survived by sons, Michael (Liza) Hirano of Pennsylvania, Chad Hirano of Utah; mother, Shizue Hirano of Kealakekua; sister, Joy Hirano of Kealakekua; one grandson; several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
