HONOLULU — Three men were rescued off the shore of Turtle Bay on Oahu after their boat capsized.

Hawaii News Now reports that the boat’s owner was airlifted from the water and brought to Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point.

The other men were brought to shore after being rescued around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

The men were diving about a mile and a half offshore when their boat was overturned by heavy winds and large waves.

Officials say the winds were above 25 miles per hour and the waves reached at least 12 feet high.

No injuries were reported. One of the three men was not wearing a life jacket.
