No tsunami was triggered by a magnitude-6.0 earthquake that struck Tuesday in Tonga.

The earthquake was recorded at 2:30 p.m. Hawaii time west-northwest of Pangai, Tonga, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There is no tsunami threat to Hawaii.
