A 1,226.5-pound Pacific Blue marlin was reeled in Wednesday by anglers aboard the charter boat Luna. The marlin is Kona’s second “grander” of 2015.
The billfish fought for two hours before angler Dean Lemman could get it to skipper Chip Van Mols and crew Shawn Bebeau.
The fish is Hawaii’s third grander of the year.
