The Waikoloa Lions Club held its 10th annual golf tournament on Saturday, May 23, at the Waikoloa Village Golf Club. The tournament, a fundraiser, helps the Lions Club maintain its involvement in the community. Thirty golfers participated and $3,881 was raised minus expenses. The funds raised were enough to allow the Waikoloa Lions to continue to serve the community.

Just some of the multiple activities the Waikoloa Lions are responsible for is keiki vision screening, vision van for free adult vision screening, “Sight is Beautiful” children’s poster contests and the annual Waikoloa Christmas Parade. The club contributes to organizations such as scholarships to Homework Lab at Waikoloa School, keiki sports and providing glasses or vision care to those in need.
