A 26-year-old Chicago woman, who was reported missing after going for a hike Saturday in Puna, has been located.
The Hawaii Police Department reports Britney Pieta was located alive around 5 p.m. Tuesday in a brush area of the Hawaiian Acres subdivision.
She was taken to Hilo Medical Center for treatment, police said.
