Masked men attack Puna resident

A 64-year-old man living in Hawaiian Paradise Park in Puna was attacked by two men Wednesday night, police said.

The man was at a home on the 23rd Avenue when two men wearing masks arrived and attacked him. The suspects then fled the area, reportedly in a white pickup that was possibly a Nissan or Datsun, according to the Hawaii Police Department. Police received the report at 8:25 p.m.

“One suspect was described as about 5-foot-10 and about 180 pounds. The other was described as about 5-foot-6 and between 120 and 130 pounds. Both were described as being dressed in black with their faces obscured,” police said.
