Foodies came together for an epicurean delight Saturday night for the first day of the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.

In its fifth year, the festival takes place over a two week period on multiple island featuring a roster of over 100 internationally renowned master chefs, culinary personalities and wine and spirit producers.

Saturday’s signature event, the only one on the Big Island, featured a six course extravaganza, each course paired with wine, created by famed chefs including Roy Yamaguchi and Ming Tsai using fresh, local ingredients.

The festival continues through Sept.13. For more information visit hawaiifoodandwinefestival.com.
