A woman was arrested in a stolen truck on Monday in Ainaloa.

Ashley Grammer, 23, of Pahoa, was arrested in a Toyota Tacoma pickup that had been reported stolen on Aug. 25 from a parking lot on Old Volcano Road in Volcano, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

When detectives searched the truck they found “a substance resembling crystal methamphetamine,” the release said.

Grammer was charged with unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle and possession of an imitation substance. She was also wanted on two warrants alleging contempt of court. Her bail was set at $2,500 pending an initial court appearance slated Wednesday.
