Harry DeConte
Harry Robert DeConte, 80, of Hilo died July 27, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was retired from Hilo Shopping Center, co-owner of Hilo Harry’s Taxi and an Army veteran.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Oct. 2 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10 a.m. Mass.
He is survived by daughters, Angela (Glen) Ogata and Annette (Lance) Pestano, both of Hilo; son, Harry (Andrea) DeConte of Fremont, Calif.; brothers, John (Dorothy) DeConte of Waipunalei, George (Blanche) DeConte of Honolulu; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry Dougherty
Larry Steven Dougherty, 69, of Ocean View died Sept. 23, 2015. Born Aug. 11, 1946, in Omaha, Neb., he was a stone mason and worked in construction.
Friends are welcome at noon Oct. 3 at Manuka Park for a celebration of his life.
He is survived by wife, Rochelle Dougherty of Ocean View; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
