Federal law on cannabis ludicrous

Anyone outside Congress knows federal law on cannabis is ludicrous. Federal law on cannabis is based on the ravings of a few zealots who have made it a virtual crime to disagree with them, much like the McCarthy HUAC hearings of the 1950s. The Supreme Court, has tremendous power to correct the errors and oversights of politicians who react to emotional and ideological forces.

To deny a defendant legal representation because the law is confusing and contradictory denies the spirit and word of the Constitution.

I hope their decision will be the furtherance of justice for all.

Our county road crews are amazing

Our county road workers are absolutely amazing. One flood after another, they were out there clearing and repairing our roadways. All this during downpours and incredibly high heat, at all times of the day and night, for weeks on end. And now preparing roads for the IRONMAN.

A great big mahalo nui loa to our wonderful, hardworking, dedicated county road maintenance crews.
