Over 100 athletes of all ages “Ran with the Bulls” at Parker School’s 16th Annual George Heneghan Fun Run and Color Stampede in Waimea on Saturday morning.

“We are happy to provide our community with a fun, healthy activity with the hope that our school’s athletic department can inspire others to stay active,” said Nicole Vedelli, Athletic Director at Parker School.

The event featured a 1K for the keiki and a 5K for the big kids and adults. The fun run was established in 1999 in memory of Hawaii architect George Heneghan, an accomplished athlete, teacher and Parker cross country and track coach from 1992 to 1998.
