Master taiko drummer Kenny Endo and his ensemble offered a unique cultural program Saturday at the Kailua-Kona Public Library. Attendees learned about the art of performing taiko and the different drums and percussions of Japan used in traditional and contemporary music.
Endo performed original compositions from his CD collection accompanied by Kristin Pauka, Chizuko Endo and Sean Shibata. Endo has performed all over the United States, Japan and throughout the world.
