The number of confirmed cases of dengue fever climbed by six people to 107 Thursday, according to the Department of Health.

The cases include 93 locals and 14 visitors.

So far 230 reported potential cases have been excluded, either on test criteria or because they don’t meet the case criteria.

Lyle Petersen, director of the CDC’s Division of Vector-Borne Diseases, will vet containment efforts and share his analysis with county and state officials during a visit scheduled to run from Tuesday to Thursday.
