Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two adults wanted in connection with an attempted burglary investigation in Hilo.

At about 7:45 a.m. Friday an unknown man and woman attempted to enter a home on the 800 block of Kukuau Street in the Sunrise Estates subdivision. The suspect’s images were captured on surveillance video.

The man was wearing a black T-shirt, light brown shorts and white shoes. The lower half of his left leg appears to be tattooed.

The woman was wearing a red-and-white blouse with a dark design, blue jeans and a cowboy-type hat.

Police ask anyone with information about this case or the identity of the persons in the photos to call Officer Matthew Lewis at 961-2213 or the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
