Church rummage sale Saturday
Imiola Church in Waimea will hold a rummage sale Saturday.
It will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 65-1084 Mamalahoa Highway.
Building, design expo seeking vendors
The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce presents the 11th annual Building and Design Expo Feb. 12-14 at the Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa at Keauhou Bay convention center. Last year’s expo was attended by 2,500 people and a strong turnout is anticipated this year as homeowners are making improvements to their properties.

Brain injury support group meets
A brain injury support group will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawaiian Rehab Services, just mauka of the Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union on Hualalai Road.
Attorney Donna V. Payesko will speak about the legal issues surrounding the use of advance health care directives, durable power of attorneys, and special needs trusts to protect individuals with disabilities.
Payesko is a senior associate with the Law Office of Darl C. Gleed and Associates where her practice is focused on estate planning, trust administration, probate, fiduciary income taxation and elder law.

Mauna Kea Soil and Water meeting Wednesday
The Mauna Kea Soil and Water Conservation District will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service Waimea Service Center, 67-1185 Mamalahoa Highway, Suite 148.
