Mildred Branco

Mildred “Dindy” Jane Branco, 84, of Hilo died Dec. 25, 2015, at home. Born Nov. 11, 1931, in Hilo, she was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. Jan. 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Urn committal service follows at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No.2 columbarium. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

She is survived by husband, Manuel Branco Jr. of Hilo, sons, Dennis (Virginia) Branco, Allen (Mary) Branco, Paul (Kathleen) Branco, all of Hilo; daughters, Gale Paulos of Hilo, Cora Cardoso of Honokaa, Lori (Michael) Kahihikolo of Waimea, Suzy (Adam) Barela of Volcano; sisters, Norma Fergerstrom of Hilo, Betty (Buddy) Kamehaiku of Panaewa; 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Lance Alexander

Services for Lance Alexander have been announced. Friends may call from 4:30 p.m. to sunset Jan. 3 at Kapaa Beach Park Pavilion in Hawi for a celebration of life. Flowers and lei are welcome.

Raymond Nakamoto

Raymond Mamoru Nakamoto, 70, of Hilo died Dec. 10, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born March 3, 1945, in Hilo, he was the president of Nakamoto Construction, Inc.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. Jan. 5 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Mildred Nakamoto of Hilo; son, Guy (Corrina Kuahiwinui) Nakamoto of Hilo; daughter, Raina (Daniel) Tsue of Honolulu; brothers, George (Mimi) Nakamoto of North Carolina, Richard (Earline) Nakamoto of Honolulu; sister, Lillian (George) Tomonaga of Hilo; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dan Anglin

Dan “Wampy Dan” Anglin, 71, of Waikoloa Village died Dec. 26, 2015, at his residence. Born Dec. 28, 1943, in Oakland, Calif., he was a retired operating engineer.

He is survived by wife, Lyla Anglin of Waikoloa Village; son, Danny Anglin of Ventura, Calif.; daughters, Shelly Bradley of Waikoloa Village, Phyllis Anglin-Pugh of Bakersfield, Calif., Dana (Lisa Hill) Anglin of Woodland, Calif.; sister, Rebecca Duncan of Bakersfield, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

Patricia Korban-Lane

Patricia “Pat” Dell Korban-Lane, 71, of Captain Cook, died Dec. 28, 2015, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Sept. 24, 1944, in Lincoln, Nebraska, she was lead accountant for Triad Management.

She is survived by daughter, Kelly (Gerald Hicks) Lawrence of Captain Cook; sister, Sunday (Dan) Chumbley of Hemet, California; grandsons, Brandon Lawrence, Michael Hicks of Captain Cook.
