Girl Scout Troop 2028 will travel to Oahu March 4-6 to complete work on badge projects, visit Bishop Museum and the the Arizona Memorial. The troop will hold a car wash from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at KMart to raise funds for the trip. They will also accept donations of HI-5 bottles and cans from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at 75-170 Hualalai Road in Kailua-Kona in the parking lot near Shorbreak Church and H&R Block.

Donations may also be sent to Girl Scouts, P.O. Box 5489, Kailua-Kona, HI 96745.

The troop also engages in public service projects, including Stockings for Soldiers, in which more than 400 stockings were filled with gifts and sent to deployed soldiers last year.
