Stephen Gorman

Stephen John Gorman, 67, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 12, 2016. Born Dec. 3, 1948, in Berkeley, Calif., he was a veteran and worked in retail sales.

Friends may call at noon March 26 at Honokohau Harbor in Kailua-Kona for an ocean scattering. Boats will be provided for those who wish to participate. Call Lonnie at 960-7852 for directions. Condolences may be posted at ballardfamilymortuaries.com.

He is survived by brothers, Robert, Michael and David Gorman of the mainland.

Ronald Agrigado

Ronald Mariano Agrigado, 69, of Honolulu, formally from Hilo, passed away on March 18, 2016, at Kuakini Medical Center on Oahu. He was born June 16, 1946, in Hilo. He was a proprietor of a (carpentry) construction company and also was a U.S. Army veteran.

Please join the family in celebrating Agrigado on March 28 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral service is at 6 p.m. with cremation to follow. Family requests casual attire. Friends may also call on April 10 at Borthwick Mortuary, Mauna Kea Chapel on Oahu. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Memorial service at 10 a.m. A private inurnment will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of The Pacific (Punchbowl) in Honolulu at a later date.

He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Luke) Octavio and Rachelle Agrigado of Hilo; sons, Ryan Agrigado and Jason Kim of Oahu; grandchildren, Choncie-Lynn, Kody, Skyler, Dylan, Cheylee, Gehrig, Starcia, Xaige, Legend and Reign; brother, Dennis Agrigado of Hilo; mother of his two daughters and one son, Ryan Agrigado, Paula Agrigado of Hilo; son in-law, Baba Lancaster of Hilo; daughter in-law, Christy Ramos of Maui; sister in-law, Penny Agrigado of Hilo.

Thomas Ferrara

Thomas “Tom” Gerard Ferrara, 57, of Waimea, passed away March 20, 2016 at Kona Community Hospital. Born March 2, 1957, in Honolulu, he was a skilled painter by trade, an outdoorsman and member of Mana Christian Ohana Church.

Visitation is at 5:30 p.m. March 30 at Mana Christian Ohana Church in Waimea. Service is at 6 p.m. Casual attire and no flowers requested. A service will also be held 6 p.m. March 31 at Assembly of God Church located on Kalaheo Road in Kailua, Oahu.

He is survived by companion, Beverly Suguitan of Waimea; father, Joseph Ferrara of Mililani; sister, Tina (Matt) Pearson of Oregon; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Gerardo Luczon

Mr. Gerardo “Gerry” Luczon, 93, of Waimea, died Feb. 28, 2016, at his residence. Born in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on Oct. 15, 1922, he was a retired industrial painter for Takemoto Painting and a pineapple field experiment processor. He was a member of the Molokai Filipino Community Club, The Way of Salvation Church and the Sakada group of 1946.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 2 at Mana Christian Church at the Kahilu Community Center in Waimea for a 10 a.m. funeral service. Burial will follow at the Honokaa County Cemetery. The family requests casual attire and flowers are welcome.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Luczon of Wamiea; son, Andrew (Era) Luczon of Kahului, Maui; daughters, Esther Luczon of Kailua-Kona, Emerlinda (Andres) Ibera of Kalihi, Oahu; sisters, Tomasa (Bernardo) Ursulum and Monica Ulangca, all of Kalihi, Oahu; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Richard Saya

Richard Gerard Saya, 47, of Hilo, passed away on March 16, 2016. Richard was born on June 26, 1968, in Massachusetts.

Scattering of ashes to be at Honolii Beach Paka from 9 a.m. till pau on April 2.

He is survived by his spouse, Andrea Lord of Hilo; mother, Patricia Scheiver of Boston; father, Ronald Saya of Kihei; sister, Lei-Ala Rebekah Rose Powers-Saya of Maui; aunty, Jeanne Saya of Kauai; uncle Vincent Saya of California; nephew Kevin Clarke of Kihei.

Joseph DeLuz

Joseph Jacinth DeLuz, 82, of Kamuela died in Maui on March 12, 2016. He was born Dec. 28, 1932, in Hawaii. Joseph was a landscaper and operated his own landscaping business.

Friends are welcome at a 9 a.m. visitation and 10 a.m. service April 8 at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea for a memorial service.

He is survived by his wife, Jill DeLuz of Kamuela; step-sons, Robert (Patty) Kaula of Hilo, and Harold Kaula of Kamuela; step-daughter-in-law, Heather Kaula of Kamuela; brother, Jacinth (Evonne) DeLuz of Waimea; sisters, Shirley DeLuz, Barbara Quanan, Betty DeLuz and Rose Hatakeyama all of Waimea; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
