A partial lane closure on Kaiwi Street between Kuakini Highway and Luhia Street in Kailua-Kona will be in effect this week while Hawaii Electric Light Co. replaces five transmission poles in the Old Industrial Area.
One lane will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for infrastructure upgrades Monday through Friday. Motorists are advised to expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
