Hawaii Island police reported a break-in at a county facility in South Hilo on the 600 block of Lanikaula Street.

Hawaii Island police reported a break-in at a county facility in South Hilo on the 600 block of Lanikaula Street.

Stolen from the facility sometime between the night of Friday and early afternoon on Saturday were three white, 5-gallon buckets filled with paper money, coins and paper bus pass tickets.

Anyone with information regarding the break-in or the person or people in possession of the stolen items should contact Officer Jacob Obermiller at 961-2213 or the Hawaii Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
