Ka Pa Hula Na Wai Iwi Ola, under the direction of Kumu Keala Ching, presents Hoomana “Enlightenment” Saturday in Waikoloa.

The event features music and dance under the stars celebrating Na Wai Iwi Ola’s 15th anniversary and Kumu Keala’s birthday. Featuring musical guests Kahulanui, The Ladies of Waikui and Konabob, and Na Hoomana. Special guest halau include Na Kupuna o Kohala, Kumu Kaui Nakamura; Halau Hula o Kukui Aloha o Kohala, Kumu Leia Lawrence; Halau Hula o Manaolana o Kohala, Kumu Manaolana Keawe; Beamer Solomon Halau o Poohala, Kumu Hulali Solomon Covington; and Hula Halau Na Pua Haaheo o Kona, Kumu Bobo Palacat.

Gates open at 2:30 p.m. and the show gets underway at 3 at Waikoloa Bowl at Queen’s MarketPlace. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students (12-17 years old) and free for keiki younger than 12.

The event features lawn seating, please bring mats or folding chairs. No coolers or alcohol please. Tickets are available online and at the door.
