A traditional Tibetan Buddhist fire ceremony is this morning at Paleaku Gardens Peace Sanctuary in Captain Cook.

Tulku Yeshi Rinpoche will perform the ceremony, which seeks to remove obstacles from our lives. Before the ceremony, attendees will write down on a piece of paper a list of the life challenges they would like to resolve and bring it to the ceremony. Rinpoche is a Buddhist Master with a deep understanding of the ancient wisdom of Tibet. He teaches in English, and is open to dialogue with students. He is also the founder of Tibetan Zen and has published 14 books, including his autobiography, “A Modern Liberation Odyssey.”

Cost is $20.
