Free drink for pops

From 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Keauhou Farmers Market at the Keauhou Shopping Center, dad can get a free drink just in time for Father’s Day.

Bring dad to the market for a unique Father’s Day gift, too. Free decorate-your-own travel mugs for keiki to make (craft materials provided, or bring your own photo) will be available and dad choose a free drink from one of the participating vendors.

VA home loan seminar planned

VA Home Loan specialist Tony Dias will host a free VA Home Loan Seminar from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Elks Club.

Veterans can learn how to utilize their home loan benefit to purchase or re-finance a home up to $625,500 with no money down and no private mortgage insurance. They may also have more than one VA loan at a time.

Dias is the branch manager for Veterans United Home Loans of Hawaii.

Refreshments and snacks will be served. The Elks Club is located at 74-5596 Pawai Place, Kailua-Kona.

Anuhea playing at benefit concert

Anuhea will be playing at Daylight Mind Coffee Co. at a benefit concert for Kona Historical Society from 6 to 9 p.m. Father’s Day, Sunday.

Tickets are $45 and are on sale at Daylight Mind Coffee Co. in Kailua-Kona.
