Merry Ann Fisher, 71, of Kailua-Kona died June 18, 2016. Born Dec. 25, 1944 in Vancouver, Wash., she was a beauty business owner.

Clara Gallinger
Clara “Kalala” Kealohaokalani Gallinger, 69, of Captain Cook died June 17, 2016, at her residence. Born Dec. 13, 1946, in Honolulu, she was a retired cashier for Sandy’s Drive In, proprietor of Ma’s Kava Stop and a security officer at the Hokulia Project.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. June 25 at Bible First Mission Church in Captain Cook for a 10 a.m. celebration of life. Burial will follow at the Naalehu County Cemetery. The family requests casual attire and flowers are welcome.
She is survived by husband, Philip Gallinger of South Kona; sons, David Hoopai of California, Samuel (Takara) Gallinger of South Kona, saac Naki of Texas; daughters, Davalynn (Tony) Manzano of South Kona, Suki (Sak) Vuicakau of Fiji, April (Josh) Qina, Maka (David) Gallinger, and Leialoha Durante, all of South Kona, Nalani Aivao of Molokai; eight brothers; five sisters; 27 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kalyp “The Soljah” Allen Rapoza, 25, of Hilo died June 6, 2016, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born June 5, 1991, in Hilo, he was a landscaper.

Helen Nakamura
Helen Tsuneko Nakamura, 78, of Hilo died June 19, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Hilo. Born Sept. 19, 1937, in Hilo, she was retired from the Social Security Administration office in Hilo, and a member of Tenrikyo Kilauea Church, Tenrikyo Fujinkai, Tenrikyo Hawaii Shima Kyoyukai, Kamana Line Dancing Group, Kamana Senior Center and RSVP.
Friends may call at 2:30 p.m. June 26 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 4 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
