Art project pupule

I recently read in West Hawaii Today that Hawaii high maki-makas want to spend big money on some kind of art stuff for the new courthouse to be built. These people are all nuts. I remember reading Mr. Hugo’s letter saying how stupid it is to build a multi-million dollar building on somebody else’s land.

I think he said that the courthouse will end up belonging to the lessors and that the county is going to improve the land for them (Liliuokalani Trust) and become an anchor for whatever the trust is planning as I write.

This when there are thousands of acres of state lands sitting idle next door. All at yours and my expense by using our tax dollars to fatten another pocket. Hawaiians have a saying for this — pupule (insane).

I wish the county or the state would improve my land so that I could get rich.
