A structure fire in Pahoa engulfed a tri-level residential home Thursday, according to the Hawaii County Fire Department.

The home, which firefighters found vacant, was 50-70 percent involved upon arrival, and there was partial collapse to some walls and the roof line.

At the time of the HFD report, the owner of the home was unknown. The loss is estimated at $136,800. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
