Byron Kukua
Byron Ku Kukua, 58, of Captain Cook, died June 14, 2016, at Kona Community Hospital. Born April 26, 1958, in Kealakekua, he was a rancher for Hokukano Ranch and Hoomau Ranch, and a county worker for the Department of Public Works.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. July 9 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Kona. Service will be 10 a.m.
He is survived by sons, Keane Kukua of Kailua-Kona, Kuoio (Shellsea Lindsey-Naihe) Kukua of Hookena; hanai daughter, Lovia (Ben) Publico of Hilo; brother, Arthur Kukua of Las Vegas; sisters, Jeanette (George) Perreira, Marvalee Banagan all of Kailua-Kona, Moani Kukua of Utah, Ardis Casuga of Milolii; five grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews

Tracy Zaugg
Tracy Lorraine Zaugg, 65, of Ocean View, was born April 9, 1951, in San Antonio and died on June 24, 2016. Tracy worked as an artist.
She is survived by son, Shane (Sarah) Kerr of Maryville, Tennessee; brothers, Tracy Mathewson of Honolulu; Craig Mathewson of California; ex-husband Alan Zaugg of Ocean View; and two grandchildren.

Margaret Okano
Margaret “Maggie” Miyuki Okano, 86, of Keaau, died June 8, 2016, at her home. Born Feb. 27, 1930, in Volcano, she was the owner and former operator of Okano Care Home and a retired nurse anesthetist at Kuakini Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital, and The Queen’s Medical Center and member of Hilo Hooganji Mission.
Private services were held.
She is survived by brother, Charles Okano of Keaau; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
