A fire destroyed an apparently abandoned home on Mission Road in Waiohinu Thursday night.
The fire was reported at 5:14 p.m. and firefighters arrived at the scene by 5:24 p.m. When they arrived, the building, about 40 feet square, was fully engulfed in flame.
Thirteen firefighters were involved, extinguishing the fire at 6:40 p.m.
The cause of the fire was undetermined.
