He is survived by wife, Shannel Ahia of Kurtistown; sons, Dustin Ahia-Vincent of Hilo, Kinohi Galdeira, Kalaealoha Ahia and Hilinai Ahia, all of Kurtistown; daughter, Lilinoe Ahia of Kurtistown; parents, Al Kalae and Judith Ahia of Kurtistown; three grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

June Yasuko Kawakami, 57, of Hilo died July 9, 2016, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. She was born in Japan.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. July 25 at the Paradise Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for a service. Scattering of ashes follows at Bay Front Beach.
She is survived by brothers, Yukio Kawakami, Robert Kawakami; sisters, Yoneko Izumi, Mary Bess, Joyce Mahelona; nieces and nephews.

Joycelyn Leimomi Nabarro, 60, of Hilo died July 7, 2016, at home. Born in Hilo, she worked in hospitality at Ala Moana Hotel and Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort.
