VFW Post announces schedule

VFW Post 12122 behind Kona Locksmith off Kaiwi Street has several events coming up.

The Commander’s Appreciation dinner is planned for Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Camero, whose fallen son is the namesake of the Post, will be guests. Two macadamia encrusted chicken thighs with sides will be served for $15. Camaraderie is from 4-6 p.m. with dinner service from 6-8 p.m. The public is invited.

The Activities Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Gaylene’s onion burgers will be served with salad and dessert for $5 on Friday.

Rotary Clubs announce upcoming speakers
