Lino Cabral Jr.

Lino Cabral Jr., 87, of Hilo died July 15, 2016, at home. Born Nov. 19, 1928, in Honolulu, he was a retired certified State Master Mechanic, a Korean War veteran, a member of the Hilo Oval Track, Drag Racing League and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 4 at Dodo Mortuary chapel with a 7 p.m. wake service. A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Aug. 5 at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire and flowers welcome.

He is survived by daughters, Estralita (Harry) Cresanto and Glorial Santos of Oahu, Evangeline Kahai of Japan, Theresa (Ronnie) Barbieto of Arizona, MarySue (Eddie) Cabral-Toilolo Jr. of Hilo; son, Lawrence (Dawn) Cabral of Hilo; 22 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; three step-grandsons, two step-great-great grandsons and two step-great-great granddaughters.

William Seguin Sr.

William Clitus Seguin Sr., 89, of Pahoa died July 15, 2016, at his residence. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired ordnance worker at the Naval Ammunitions Depot on Oahu, a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3830, Pahoa Senior Citizens and a World War II Army veteran.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. Aug. 5 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 10 a.m. prayer service. Burial will follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.

He is survived by wife, Grace Seguin of Pahoa; sons, Clyde Seguin of Waianae, Oahu, Alvin (Narcissa) Seguin of Ewa Beach, Oahu, Craig Seguin of Honolulu; daughters, Evelyn (James) Yong of Waianae, Oahu, Shirley (Randy) Dellinger of Hilo; sister, Mary Jane Lum of Ewa Beach, Oahu; 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Rebecca Jardine

Rebecca Jardine, 83, of Kurtistown died June 29, 2016, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 11, 1933, in Kailua-Kona, she was a homemaker and a member of the Mountain View Jehovah Witnesses Congregation.

She is survived sons, Alexander Jardine of Kailua-Kona, Renfred (Earllyn) Jardine and Tyson (Stacey) Jardine of Kurtistown; hanai son, Kolaiah Jardine of Maili, Oahu; daughters, Jermayne (Reynold) Crivello of Hilo, Loralei Campbell, Parona (Roscoe) Cobb-Adams, Shezale (Robert) Kanahele, both of Kurtistown; sister, Elizabeth Akau of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; caregiver, Richard Kaupe of Kurtistown; 26 grandchildren 47 great-grandchildren and eight great-great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Diane Moniz

Diane K.L. Lee Moniz, 60, of Waimea died July 27, 2016, in Honolulu. Born in Honolulu, she was the owner of Pony Express.

She is survived by daughters, Jamee Gomera, Jenney Moniz and Joanie Lau; brother, Joseph Buck; sisters, Gail Kelley, Gary Ann Cordeiro, Kuulei Stalcup and Elaine Pomaikai; seven grandchildren.

Reflection and refreshments will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. Aug. 2 at Ruby Tuesday Moanalua, Oahu. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 6 at 65-1170 Kapiolani Rd., Waimea.

Irene Olivera

Irene Elizabeth Olivera, 92, of Mountain View died July 7, 2016, at Hilo Medical Center. Born April 10, 1924, in Keaau, she was a homemaker and member of the Mountain View Senior Citizens.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. Aug. 6 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo for a 10 a.m. celebration of life. Casual attire.

She is survived by daughters, Rose (George) Torres of Mountain View, Bernadette (Roy) Kalua-Fuerte of Las Vegas; son, Robert (Ellen) Fontes of Spokane, Wash.; sisters, Ethel (Pat) Maloney of Minnesota, Mildred Rapoza of Honolulu, Gina Ahyo of Hilo; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
