Lino Cabral Jr. is survived by daughter, Gloria Santos of Oahu. Her name was misspelled in a recently published obituary because of information supplied by the newspaper. Cabral Jr. was an Army veteran.
Diane Maritt
Diane Ruth Maritt, 71, of Hilo died July 27, 2016, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Sept. 19, 1944, in Minneapolis, she was the proprietor of Victorian Princess Bed and Breakfast and a bookkeeper, member of the Big Island Ballroom Dance Club, and a CPE agility handler.
A potluck celebration of life will take place at 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at her residence, 160 Kaiwiki Road in Hilo. Condolences may be posted at homelanimemorialpark.com.
She is survived by daughters, Staci Smith of Winchester, Calif., Angelika Jones of Magna, Utah; four grandchildren.
Harue Furumoto
Harue Furumoto, 93, of Honokaa died July 5, 2016, at Hale Hoola Hamakua in Honokaa. Born March 4, 1923, in Ninole, she was a retired administrator from Honokaa Elementary School and an active member of Honokaa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and Buddhist Women’s Association and served in numerous leadership positions.
Friends may call at 3 p.m. Aug. 7 at Honokaa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by sister, Hisano Fujiwara of Las Vegas; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nicanor Nuevo
Nicanor “Nick” “Nickie” Nuevo, 88 of Pepeekeo died July 20, 2016, at home. Born in Hakalau, he was a electronics technician with the Federal Aviation Administration member of National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Aug. 11 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo for a 10 a.m. prayer service. Cremation will follow. Visitation will continue from 9 to 10 a.m. Aug. 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo, with a 10 a.m. Mass. Urn burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Section 4. Casual attire and flowers are welcomed.
He is survived by wife, Priscilla (Medeiros) Nuevo of Pepeekeo; daughters, Linda (Nolan) Ulangca of Honolulu, Stephanie Lynn (Nuevo) Higuchi of Hilo; son, Nathan Anthony Nuevo of Pepeekeo; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Billie O’Neil
Billie Mae O’Neil, 94, of Kailua-Kona died July 28, 2016, at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born March 26, 1922, in Texarkana, Ark., she was a homemaker and a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity.
She is survived by daughters, Judith (James) Gardner of Holualoa, Billie Kathleen (Richard) Shea of Olympia, Wash.; sister, Bobbie Talbot of Beaumont, Texas; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Saburo Sadahira
Saburo Sadahira, 94, of Hilo died July 22, 2016, at a private care home in Hilo. Born Feb. 25, 1922, in Papaikou, he was a retired mill worker at the former Pepeekeo Sugar Co., worked as a carpenter for the former Hicks Homes Co. and was an anthurium farmer. He was a member of the Honomu Henjoji (Odaishisan) Mission, Panaewa Houselot Kumiai, and the Carpenters Union.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Aug. 4 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo for an 11 a.m. service. Casual attire is requested.
He is survived by wife, Aiko Sadahira of Hilo; sisters, Tsuyuko Yamamoto of Honolulu, Kazumi (Kazuhiko) Kitakaze of Hiroshima, Japan, and Yaeko (Akira) Kanetoku of Iwakuni, Japan; numerous nephews and nieces.
