Aloha Performing Arts Company resumes theater classes for all ages starting Aug. 30.

Jerry Tracy’s “Tuesday Troupers” class for 8-12 year olds will be held 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays Aug. 30 through Oct. 4. The six-week class focuses on performance skills such as projection, articulation, and characterization. Tuition is $60 per student.

Nicole Gour resumes her “Keiki Theatre” class 4:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesdays Aug. 31 through Oct. 5 The class consists of structured play and theater games, aimed at increasing self confidence and developing basic group social and performance skills. Tuition is $60.

From 2-4 p.m. Thursdays Sept. 1 through Oct. 6, Felicity Johnson offers her “Intergenerational Acting” class, open to all ages. Tuition is $10 per meeting, or $60 for the entire session.

All the classes will be held at historic Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu, and each will culminate in a free performance open to the public on the last class day.

In addition, Engela Edwards continues as adviser of Aloha Teen Theatre, which meets 4:30-7:30 p.m. Fridays at the APAC Loft. ATT is ongoing and accepts new members between the ages of 13 and 18 at any time.
